DJ GRIPZ is A New York native, Sal Grippi, aka DJ Gripz knew from an early age that he wanted to be a part of the music industry. At the age of 13 he started a versatile collection of music and began spinning music at family parties and local social events. DJ Gripz started his career playing freestyle, house and Hip Hop music. His passion for music had him hitting the club scene every weekend.

The music he heard at some of his favorite clubs like Limelight, Palladium, Tunnel, Twilo, Sound Factory and Expo resulted in an affinity for vocal house, progressive house, techno, tech house and minimal music genres. With this diverse musical background, DJ Gripz is able to offer his audience a variety of sounds. His style has proven to draw a large crowd at any event he spins at.

DJ Gripz is inspired by prominent DJ’s such as Jonathon Peters, Erick Morillo and Victor Calderone. His style closely resembles their unique sounds. It is those unique sounds that are helping DJ Gripz build a strong following.
