With hits like “Single Ladies” and “Independent Women” under her belt, it’s no stretch to think of Beyonce as a feminist. At least a little bit of one. “It’s not something I consciously decided I was going to be,” the singer told You magazine. Having recently collaborated with other empowered artists Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga, Not to Mention Destiny’s Child, she’s been surrounded by strong women her whole career. “I love being a woman,” she continued, “and I love being a friend to other woman.” The “Crazy in Love” star also loves the idea of being a mom one day, with husband Jay-Z by her side. “My ambition is to continue to learn about the world and to eventually have a family,” Beyonce continued, before making sure no gossips’ tongues would be wagging. “It will happen when I’m ready.”

Uh-oh, Oprah’s not gonna like this one. Beyonce was reportedly pulled over by the NYPD in Brooklyn last Friday for texting while she was driving. Beyonce has only recently gotten her drivers license thanks to some lessons by hubby Jay-Z, but apparently he left that part out of the teachings. Reports claim that Beyonce tried to use her drving naivety to charm her way out trouble, but the police slapped her with the $100 ticket anyway. Poor Bey, we know you have the money but next time put the phone down! We sure don’t want to be on the road with you!

Over the Memorial Day weekend word has leaked that Beyonce is being sued! Yep, our girl has been sued by a L.A. resident, who claims that he was disturbed by Beyonce and her crew during the filming of her new video, “Why don’t you love me?” Philip Markowitz, the man who is suing her for trespassing and invasion of privacy says that his driveway was blocked and he was disturbed while trying to take very important business calls at home until 11 PM. He is suing her for $25,000…I’m guessing that he is backed up on his mortgage.

Now that Jennifer Hudson is back in shape, she is finally hitting the studio to give us her 2^nd studio album! As nice as this sounds, people are saying that her publishers are giving her bad feedback on the music that she has presented to them. They classify the music as Euro-Dance and they say that it does not suit Jennifer; the music is more along the lines of a Rihanna or Lady Gaga. J Records is supposedly trying to move Jennifer away from Beyonce, so they are giving her something new. I feel like if they hurry and push for the album before Beyonce comes back, then they shouldn’t run into any problems, because vocally no one is on Jennifer’s level.  I haven’t heard the new music yet, but if it sounds like the dance remix to her spotlight single, then it’s good! I can see her pulling a hit like Kelly Rowland did with David Guetta. I feel that change is good, however, given Jennifer’s talent, she doesn’t want to change that much. In all, her reps say that the album is in early stages and a bunch of changes are in store.  I can’t wait for the album; it’s been a while since I have heard some good Jennifer Hudson.

So it looks like there will be a Destiny’s Child reunion! Sources say that it is in the works and they are now making the final adjustments, like what song will they sing, as well as confirming who will actually show. We know for sure that Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle will be there but they are not sure about the others, like, LeToya, Latavia and Farrah. It was said that Latavia will be putting her tell all book on hold, so her invitation to the reunion wont be jeopardized…how suspect! Honestly, who cares if LeToya, Latavia and Farrah show? It’s really only about DC-3 ! But we will eventually see how Mathew Knowles sets this all up!

Country artist Taylor Swift has even more awards to add to her mantle. She beat out top artists such as Beyonce, The Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, and the Dave Matthews Band to take home the chief Grammy of the night—Album of the Year. At just 20 years old, Swift is the youngest performer to win this award. Along with Album of the Year, Taylor also received Grammys for Best Country Album, Best Country Song, and Best Female Country Vocal Performance. During Swift’s eager acceptance speech, she said “I just hope that you know how much this means to me. We get to take this back to Nashville. Oh my God. Our families are freaking out in their living rooms. My dad and my little brother are losing their minds in the living room right now.” It’s a good thing Kanye stayed home or else we might have had a repeat of last years VMA’s!
