Janet Jackson’s quite the cougar. The “Rhythm Nation” singer has set her sights on a new, much younger man: Gossip Girl star Chase Crawford. “We met at a bar, someone brought him over,” said Janet, who is a big fan of the show. “It was after I did the tribute to my brother Michael at the MTV Video Music Awards. We talked for a minute.” That very short meeting was enough to leave Miss Jackson both star struck and smitten. “He’s beautiful. And the thing about it is, in person he’s even more beautiful. When you see him on the screen, he’s really good looking, but then you meet him in person,” she gushed about Carrie Underwood’s ex. Chase is only 24 years old—close to half her age—but this is hardly the first time Janet’s dipped into another generation’s gene pool. Her ex boyfriend, music producer Jermaine Dupri, is six years her junior and Janet was supposedly hanging out with Justin Timberlake around the time of Nipplegate.  Clearly the 43-year-old star likes them young.

Jessica Biel, along with actor Emile Hirsch, rapper Lupe Fiasco and United Nations executive Elizabeth Gore battled blizzards and more to successfully climbMount Kilimanjaro. Biel set out to scale Africa’s highest mountain to raise awareness and money for the global clean water crisis on behalf of charity Summit on the Summit. And, apparently, to mend a broken heart. We’re hearing reports that the 7^th Heaven star has finally split from longtime boyfriend Justin Timberlake after three years together. The rocky pair were rumored to be on-again, off-again for some time but this seems real. How do we know? Timberlake told GQ earlier this year, “I’ve been training four times a week to get my VO2 levels up to expand my lungs. We’ll climb for a week straight, carrying 30 pounds on our backs. It’s going to be intense, but it’s going to be so rewarding.” And yet Biel climbed the 19,340–foot Kilimanjaro without her boy band boytoy. That’s certainly a lot of distance between them!

Lindsay Lohan’s back on the list at Avenue.

Lindsay Lohan’s back on the list at Avenue. The New York hotspot banned the troubled actress after Lohan claimed she saw Justin Timberlake at the club dancing with a woman who wasn’t his girlfriend, Jessica Biel. Lohan swore the tweet wasn’t hers and her account had been hacked, but that wasn’t good enough for the club…until now. Lindsay “besieged the management with calls and e-mails to let her back in, and she promised to be on her best behavior,” according to Page Six. So far it seems she’s lived up to her promise. Us Weekly confirmed she was allowed in the club twice already this week and, according to the magazine, she “didn’t drink while at the club and even tossed out a drink sent over by a fellow patron.” Let’s see how long she can stay out of trouble this time.

Conflicting reports have been coming out all over the place today about the status of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s three-year relationship. Us Weekly claims that Justin dumped his girlfriend over the phone about a month ago, and sources tell the magazine that Justin looked single and ready to mingle during Fashion Week in New York City. According to a friend of the couple, Jessica is in “severe denial and won’t accept” the split.

But was there really a split in the first place? Not if you ask People. “They’re not breaking up. Any time they spend time apart, it’s because they’re working,” according to People’s source. However, the source added, “They’ve been spending more time apart – more time with each of their friends, and they’ve been reevaluating [their relationship].” So are they on or are they off? We at V2 say where there’s smoke there’s fire. With all these rumors, we won’t be surprised if a confirmed breakup announcement is imminent.
