With hits like “Single Ladies” and “Independent Women” under her belt, it’s no stretch to think of Beyonce as a feminist. At least a little bit of one. “It’s not something I consciously decided I was going to be,” the singer told You magazine. Having recently collaborated with other empowered artists Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga, Not to Mention Destiny’s Child, she’s been surrounded by strong women her whole career. “I love being a woman,” she continued, “and I love being a friend to other woman.” The “Crazy in Love” star also loves the idea of being a mom one day, with husband Jay-Z by her side. “My ambition is to continue to learn about the world and to eventually have a family,” Beyonce continued, before making sure no gossips’ tongues would be wagging. “It will happen when I’m ready.”

During a performance at the Big Chill over the weekend super pregnant Lily Allen made a comment that didn’t go over so well. She yelled out to the crowd that Lady Gaga is a hermaphrodite. Well not exactly, to be specific, after picking up a potato that had been thrown on stage, she said” it says, ‘show me your penis.’ They must have mistaken me for Lady Gaga.” When the crowd started booing she backtracked and said “I’m only joking – I love her.” We don’t know Lily, kind of sounds like a bit of jealousy. We understand though, being pregnant is hard; hormones make you say crazy things, like what your actually thinking. She recently took to twitter to clear the air writing “Everyone knows I am Lady GaGa’s biggest fan. So don’t believe the bullshit. I’m a little monster and no-one can take that away from me!” If that’s true, you sure have an odd way of showing it.

Rumors are swirling that Lady Gaga and ex boyfriend Luc Carl are back together. The couple dated for three years a few years back and it seems as though the two have reconciled their differences. The new couple went public last month when they were spotted at a New York Mets game. If your asking yourself who this Luc character is, he’s a multifaceted bartender, personal trainer, club promoter, musician, DJ, author, and to top it all off he’s a semi-pro bowler. What a talented couple. He’s currently bartending at St. Jerome’s in the East Village where Gaga has been spotted sitting at the bar, sipping red wine with her bodyguard. Very bold, Gaga; we see you sticking close to your man! Luc inspired Gaga’s latest song “You and I” in which she sings “It’s been a long time but I’m back in town/But this time I’m not leaving without you,” very cute. We must say it’s nice to see the Lady of Pop laid back and in love, lookin good Gaga!

Now that Jennifer Hudson is back in shape, she is finally hitting the studio to give us her 2^nd studio album! As nice as this sounds, people are saying that her publishers are giving her bad feedback on the music that she has presented to them. They classify the music as Euro-Dance and they say that it does not suit Jennifer; the music is more along the lines of a Rihanna or Lady Gaga. J Records is supposedly trying to move Jennifer away from Beyonce, so they are giving her something new. I feel like if they hurry and push for the album before Beyonce comes back, then they shouldn’t run into any problems, because vocally no one is on Jennifer’s level.  I haven’t heard the new music yet, but if it sounds like the dance remix to her spotlight single, then it’s good! I can see her pulling a hit like Kelly Rowland did with David Guetta. I feel that change is good, however, given Jennifer’s talent, she doesn’t want to change that much. In all, her reps say that the album is in early stages and a bunch of changes are in store.  I can’t wait for the album; it’s been a while since I have heard some good Jennifer Hudson.

After Nicki Minaj fired her own manager, Debby Antney, she was on the hunt for a new one. Earlier this week sources reported that Lady Gaga’s Manager, Troy Carter landed the position, but after that, rumors have then surfaced that Sean “P-Diddy” Combs will now be managing both Nicki and rapper Rick Ross. I wonder if a game of “Tug-A-War” will happen… I think Nicki should go the same route as Lady Gaga and many other successful artists including Eve and Tony Braxton, by choosing Troy Carter. I say this because I’m having trouble naming an artist that has lasted more than 3 years after the raft of “The Diddy”. Nicki, make sure you chose wisely!

You know what they say, once you kill a cow, you gotta make a burger. It looks like Akon is about to make that burger! While talking to Vibe magazine singer Akon blasted Christina Aguilera for “swagga jackin” Lady Gaga! He said, “You are actually giving Christina too much credit. She always had her cool little look and way about how she went about things. But soon as Gaga came out everything switched up. Christina stepped out of her own shell to become something different. And the crazy thing is Christina is really talented. She has unlimited range when it comes to singing. Her voice is out of here. I just think she just needs to believe in herself more. I think sometimes she gets insecure because of all of the success Gaga has had not realizing that she was already successful before Gaga came out.” Although I have yet to witness Christina do anything out of her ordinary, Akon did mention that there was no competition between the two ladies. Hmm… Maybe grown men like Akon should stay out of Women’s feuds… I’m just saying.
